February 1967 Founded in Katsushika-ku, Tokyo, for the purpose of planning and constructing exhibitions and displays
March 1970 Established Hakuten Corporation in Katsushika-ku, Tokyo, with capital of 500 thousand yen, for the purpose of planning, producing, and constructing exhibitions, displays, events, and commercial facilities
January 1992 Established the First Studio in Yashio, Saitama Prefecture
February 1992 Tokuhisa Taguchi assumed office as Representative Director and President (currently Representative Director, Chairman and Executive Officer)
September 1994 Established a sales office in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo
February 1998 Established the Second Studio in Yashio, Saitama Prefecture
April 1998 Established the Spatial Design Department
September 2001 Relocated the head office to Chuo-ku, Tokyo
April 2002 Established the Third Studio in Yashio, Saitama Prefecture
April 2006 Relocated the head office to Tsukiji, Chuo-ku, Tokyo
Established "E-BASE," a studio specializing in system materials, in Yashio, Saitama Prefecture
February 2008 Listed shares on the Osaka Securities Exchange "Hercules" market (currently the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market)
2009 Registered "Communication Design" as a trademark in Japanese and English
November 2010 Obtained PrivacyMark certification
April 2011 e-Studio moved to Osone, Yashio City, Saitama Prefecture
